Leadership Competencies for Managers, 360 feedback
Targeted 360 Feedback For Mid to Senior-Level ManagersThe Survey of Leadership Competencies for Managers (LCM) is a multirater assessment that acknowledges that managers are often called upon to act as leaders. A manager needs management skills to achieve the operating goals of the organization, while leadership skills are used to move the organization forward for positive change. LCM combines the skills essential to both the management and leadership roles into one instrument. The Leadership Competencies Task Cycle® follows the Task Cycle Theory, a model that has been researched for 30 years. The Phases and Dimensions in the Survey of Leadership Competencies for Managers measure a balanced set of effective leadership and management, which fall into three broad competencies: Structure (directing the work), Relations (managing the people) and Drive (personal energy behind the effort). The individual feedback report presents the skills in a sequence called the Leadership Competencies for Managers Task Cycle. Understanding one's strengths and soft spots from feedback is the first step in skill development. Creating an action plan that follows the Task·Cycle will strengthen the manager's effectiveness.
