The Global Assessment Inventory measures ten distinct individual attributes crucial for successful adaptation to doing business across cultures:

• Respect for Beliefs: Receptiveness to new ideas and other political or religious beliefs.
• Patience: The extent to which you believe you have influence over your life events.

The GAI also measures attributes necessary for work that involves international business travel, and focuses on how employees can maximize their effectiveness when working with people from different cultures.
