The GMI is an assessment tool designed to measure the Global Mindset of the survey-taker using an integrated, scientifically verified framework with specific attributes and characteristics.  Intercultural experts at Thunderbird School of Global Management, the world’s leader in preparing students for global careers, have developed this premier assessment tool. Thunderbird’s professors interviewed over 200 global executives and collaborated with other distinguished scholars around the world to define the concept of Global Mindset and develop metrics and scientific instruments to measure an individual’s and a group’s profile for Global Mindset. Global Mindset is defined as a set of attributes and characteristics that help global leaders better influence individuals, groups, and organizations unlike themselves.
