The Hogan Express Reportis based on a candidate’s scores on seven dimensions that influence occupational success within seven job categories. This off-the-shelf report provides an immediate recommendation based on the assessment results that will identify each candidate as high, moderate or low fit for the job opening. Additionally, the report identifies the candidate’s strengths, areas of concern and interview style. The report is based on the Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI). The HPI is a measure of normal personality and is used to predict employee performance—what we see when people are at their best.
Different characteristics are important for success in different jobs, and characteristics that are important in one job may interfere with performance in others. The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) evaluates candidates on seven well-known dimensions or characteristics that influence occupational success. This report is based on the candidate’s scores on these dimensions and it is organized in three sections. Section I reviews the candidate’s results focusing on (a) characteristics relevant for success in most work environments; (b) suitability for the position; and (c) the style with which she will interview. Section II summarizes the recommendation for job fit and potential hiring.
