Hogan Leadership Values Report

The Values Report explores a person's core values and goals that ultimately dictate a leader's emphasis on working with others and the type of environment a leader will create. The report predicts individual fit with a career, team, and organization.  The other reports in the Leadership series are the Challenge, Potential and Coaching.

Ways to use this information:  This information can be used in three ways.  First, it can be used to evaluate the fit between your identity and your current occupation.  People often take jobs for non-strategic reasons.  The Leadership Values Report is a way to evaluate the wisdom of your current occupational choice.  Second, the report can be used to evaluate the fit between your core values and the corporate culture.  No matter how talented you might be, if your values are inconsistent with that of the culture, you will rarely succeed in that culture.  And finally, certain values enhance and certain values impede a person's performance as a leader.  This report directly concerns that issue.

Identify High-Potential Leaders:  The HoganLead leadership development reports are based on 30+ years of research and socioanalytic theory that identify competencies, derailers, and values of top leaders.  From day-to-day interactions to situations of stress and pressure to goals that drive behavior, HoganLead identifies high-potential leaders within organizations worldwide.

Leadership Significance:  Leadership is the most important topic in the social, behavioral and organization sciences.  When good leadership prevails, organizations and people prosper.  Bad leadership is almost always accompanied by corporate corruption and business disasters.

"A person's values cannot be easily or directly inferred from his/her personality because values concern a person's private agenda, something he/she may not always care to share."
